Ivan Rushmer

Ivan Rushmer is the founder of Trackerserver, the tracking platform whose InSight modules are described on this website.

Rushmer has been in the telematics industry since 2014, in work that has spanned GPS tracking, software engineering and the development of tracking hardware. Indoor tracking carries that work into the places a GPS tracker cannot follow: a client who can see a truck arrive at a depot will soon ask what became of its load.

Both halves of a tracking system fall within Rushmer's experience. The platform is written by Rushmer, a full-stack software developer. The devices come from manufacturers, several of them among the largest in telematics, with whom Rushmer has long worked at close quarters, extensively in China, and alongside whom Rushmer has developed new tracking hardware.

Trackerserver is sold to tracking businesses as a white-label platform: each runs it on a dedicated server under its own name. The warehouses, shops, factories and yards discussed on this website are therefore those of the clients of such businesses, and the service is presented to those clients under the brand of the business that provides it.
